How to delete your account

In the app

Go to Settings → Account & Security → Delete account.

By email

Email hello@madewithcera.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject Delete my Cera account.

We may ask you to verify account ownership. Never send your password.

Timing

After we verify and process your request, there is a 30-day waiting period. Our nightly deletion process then permanently deletes your account and the personal information you own. To cancel during the waiting period, email hello@madewithcera.com.

The waiting period applies to standard account closure. If you exercise a legal right to have your information erased, we assess your request separately and handle it within applicable legal deadlines; the waiting period does not automatically apply.

If your account is restored, your posts remain unpublished until you choose to republish them.

What is deleted

Your profile, personal posts, projects, drafts, photos, private notes, presets, personal materials and tags, studio and administrator-access requests, likes, follows, saves, account notifications, studio join attempts, and reports you submitted are deleted with your account.

What may remain

• Studio-owned content stays with the studio. Studio project edit history may remain, but is no longer linked to you.
• Studio directory entries and contributions to the shared clay and glaze catalogue remain.
• Reports other people filed about your account or content may be retained for safety and abuse prevention; there is no fixed automatic deletion period for those reports.
• Temporary backup copies may remain until the backups expire. Link cards already stored or sent by other services cannot be recalled.
